I traveled home for Thanksgiving, but I didn't get to spend enough time with my family. A weekend is not long enough when you haven't seen them in months. Needless to say, I'm really looking forward to spending a couple of weeks with them toward the end of this month. My mom has a mile long honey-do-list. I tried to do what I could the last time I was home, but I didn't even make a dent. Hopefully, I'll get a little more accomplished this time around.
For now, I think I'm going to go wake my girlfriend. I can't sleep, and I know how I would like to pass the time.

This sucks.
A year ago, a single bennie would keep me going all day and most of the night. I'm now having to take three times as many. It's expensive. I don't want to spend the money, but I need them. I can't get everything done without them. It's frustrating. Luckily, I make enough to buy them and pay the bills… I just can't put very much into savings.
I wonder if Izzy could... no... that... no... I'll work it out.

This. Sucks.
Izzy was so excited about Liz coming home. I didn't have the heart to remind her that today is my birthday. I still don't. If I did, she would feel horrible. It's been so long since she's seen Liz. I don't want to ruin it for her.
That definitely doesn't make this suck any less, though... especially when I can't sleep.
